DID THIS HAPPEN ?

I suppose if Poker Host was in charge of a rowing race (or any other
sport), they would disqualify teams for sharing water, food, and equipment.
Our team with great enthusiasm and great team spirit had started on the Pokerhost WSOP games - with
a FANTASTIC TEAM!
For anyone not familiar - this is a series of 8 games - with 19 teams of 10 people each. participating.
The buy-in effectively was $40 per person. Points are given to each participant - straight - in the order of finish - and
bonus points given to top 5 finishers.
The total team points determine the winning team. Every member of the winning
team gets a $1,500 valued WSOP pass.
THIS IS A TEAM GAME - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO INDIVIDUAL
REWARD - THE WHOLE TEAM WINS OR LOSES TOGETHER.

We had 2 people at teh final table ---
YEAAAAAAAA - we were happy - and.
During the play at the final table people from other team - started complaining
that in one hand there was chip dumping. (please read more about it below). This was re-hushed on air - and it was fairly
clear - that unless the mandate of TEAM play is to TAKE OUT YOUR TEAM MATE - there really was nothing wrong - but judge it
for yourself.
Based on the the complaints - Pokerhost decided to DISQUALIFY out 2 team members that made final
table - and take away ALL the points they made in game 3
A lot went on trying to explain to them thet they are
wrong - will try to put more info here - for now - let me post here the letter I have sent to Pokerhost management - it will
explain the core issue.
Please read - ask any questions - make your opinion known!

This Tournament "Run For The Cash" will be run for four weeks. One Game a Week,
in the Month of April, 09
Ways To get your seat in the final table tournament:
Top Three finishers in any
of the four scheduled tournaments, will win a seat to the final table tournament.
Top Ten from the Tournament Leader
Board will win a seat to the Final Table Tournament. The Leader Board will be posted here. You earn points for your play.
Points will be calculated, by your finish in the weekly tournament.
Rules:
Players will only be allowed "ONE
SEAT" per person to the final table tournament.
No multiple account play. One player, One account
If a player
finishes in the top 3 and has already won a seat to the final table tournament, the seat will be awarded to the next finishing
player, that has NOT won a seat.

Wanted to share it asap. Please post your name here if you are interested.
Start calling your friends and create your own team! Poker Host is looking for 10 poker players to represent
us at one of the WSOP events.
How to participate?
All you have to do is create a league of 10 players. Each
player from the team must agree to play all 8 tournaments to be eligible to play. Players will receive points based on the
position they end up in each tournament and those points will be added to your league’s points. The league with most
points after the 8 tournaments will be chosen as the winner.
What is the value of each tournament?
Each tournament
costs $10. If your team pays all 8 tournaments in advance, Poker Host will give you a 50% discount. That leaves you to pay
$40 for all tournaments.
Once earned?
As soon as your team wins, you will receive the entry to one of the WSOP events
of this year. In the event that one of your teammates can not play the event due to sickness, visas, or any other situation
out of hand; the player is allowed to give away or sell his entry with the approval of our staff.
Restrictions:
Each team member has to play all 8 tournaments. If someone is not able to play one of the tournaments the promotion is null
automatically and the next eligible league will be given the prize.
